To explain how diet changes helps in keeping the risk of developing depression low, a study was conducted at the University of Eastern Finland. Nearly 2000 men participated in the study. Anu Ruusunen, MSc, stated that this study has induced the connection between a healthy diet and its role not only in the treatment of the illness but also in the prevention of the same.
