Much like having healthy radiant skin, most of us have prioritized the need to have healthy and shining hairs, regardless why type or pattern they could have. Hairs are integral part of personality and it would be right to say they are somehow extension of our personality, and yet they are also prone to cause complications. There are so many factors and alignment and fortunately there are dermatological treatments that can sooth most of those complications. But one of the most common is dandruff and itchy scalp that would either make you conscious by not wearing dark colored tops due to dandruff or making you look like an idiot while you scratch your head. Apparently our skin cells are formed in throughout process on the scalp and shedding of dead skin cells is completely a normal process. But in case of dandruff, skin cells are shed at a faster rate than normal and oil from the scalp causes the skin cells to clump together and appear as white flakes. There are also other dandruff-causing factors like dry skin, sensitivity to hair products; and skin conditions such as psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, or eczema an also overgrowth of yeast can also cause dandruff. And the scalp itching element can also be caused by above skin alignments.
Some Kitchen hacks:
Tea tree oil: Being used in many hair products as neutralizing powers as it has natural antifungal, anti-inflammation and antibacterial properties can be used to treat itchy scalp. You can use tea tree oil in various ways, like adding 10 to 20 drops of tea tree oil to one-half cup of baby shampoo and use it daily until the condition of your scalp improves. Or you can dilute two or three drops of tea tree oil in one tablespoon of vegetable oil and massage the mixture onto your scalp.
Lime Juice: besides being a handy option for natural bleaching agent, it would also help you treat an itchy and dry scalp as it is useful when dealing with dandruff. You just have to apply fresh lemon juice thoroughly on the scalp and leave it on for five minutes and then shampoo your hair. If you do not have dandruff, dilute the lemon juice in water. Alternately, you can mix lemon juice with yogurt and apply it on your scalp for a few minutes before washing your hair with a mild shampoo, which could also make your hairs silky soft. This yogurt trick is also effective in treating itchiness and dryness.
Apple Cider Vinegar: It is profoundly used in many home-remedies of skin alignments and in cases of dandruff and itchiness it can also be effective to the course. As it contains anti-inflammation properties which could kill the yeast and virus that can cause itchy scalp by restoring balances of the pH levels of the scalp for curing itching and dryness. There are many ways you can use it, or just rinse your hair and scalp with water and allow it to dry. And then mix equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water and pour the mixture into a spray bottle and apply such mixture directly onto your scalp with the help of cotton balls and spray it on your scalp. Then after few minutes, shampoo with normal water.
Coconut Oil: Pretty much popular in Caribbean and south-east Asia, it forms a barrier that helps keep skin moisturized and hence it is an effective way to treat an itchy scalp. Though you can also use it on regular basis in lighter consistency or you can rub a little coconut oil onto the scalp after washing your hair your scalp when it is clean. Leave it on for at least half an hour and then wash it out with a perfume-free shampoo. You can make a routine of three times a week. Or gently heat coconut oil so that it melts; add it to your shampoo before washing your hair, which is more soothing and simple.
Just maintaining a regime of hair cleaning would prevent such causes as first place and it is wise to do it. And in case if all itching problems still last after all the necessary hacks, then it is suggested to use consult with a dermatologist, as it could be a sign of a skin alignment.
