Propecia types of medicine mainly used for treating hair loss in specific part of head or bald patches, specifically around crown area. Causes for hair loss can differ from gender to gender. In male anatomy, it is caused by excessive quantity of testosterone in body. Propecia, works by decreasing those testosterone level, which results in hair re-growth or slow growth hair over bald patches. It is specifically made to be effective on adult males only.
How to use it:
It comes in pill form for oral consumption with or without empty stomach. Doses can differ from patents to patient, but generally once a day and for at least for at least 3 months to see its result. But still doses should be as instructed by doctor or dermatologists and it is perfect and suitable for you.
There is strict guideline that it shouldn’t be used or even touched by women or children. If the tablet is seems crushed or just broken, it should not be handled by a woman who is pregnant or by a woman who may become pregnant.
If all seems favorable and working for then you can continue it for as much time as you want. But keep it in mind, Propecia works but decreasing natural body hormone to re-grow hair follicle. And if you stopped taking Propecia, within 12month its will started deleting and hair loss will resume.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not double the dose to catch up missing one.

Some Side Effects:
The intensity of effects it causes could be higher as it works on hormonal level. Some of the common possible side effects like, lump in the breast area, nipple discharge, breast enlargement or tenderness or pain, mild cramp in the testicles, irritation while urinating. Other side effects it can affect drop in sperm count or weakened erectile function since it affects on your hormonal level!
Propecia is also prone to some allergic reactions like red rashes, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), and severe dizziness, unable to breathe properly are seen common reaction in allergic patient cases. Allergies are subjective phenomena and range and intensity will differs. It also can be avoided if you explained your allergy history to doctors or dermatologist while diagnosing.
